DHS Imprisons Huddled Masses.

The Department of Homeland In-Security is detaining Cuban refugees (aka: huddled masses yearning to breathe free) at the Guantanamo Bay Interment Facility. This act demonstrates our government's xenophobic policies. Using the fear of terrorism as free pass to imprison anyone, including a 10 year old diabetic child. What have we reduced ourselves to?

After expressing "having a well-founded fear of persecution if repatriated", these immigrants we sent to Git-Mo. One has been there for two years.

Fifty human beings imprisoned for trying escape oppression and seek a better life. So much for the pursuit of happiness. It is now the retention of happiness. Those who have had happiness handed to them by previous generations now keep it for themselves thereby terminating everyone else's pursuit. Sen. Bill Nelson, DEM, Fla is trying to pressure the State Department to take action.
